Kathleen Nguyendon-LeClecq has been supporting ATX DAO in the capacity of design manager for the majority of ATX DAO’s existence, from event posters to merch to NFTs. Kathleen has provided these services for over a year at no charge to ATX DAO.
The purpose of this proposal is to formally recognize Kathleen as an ATX DAO member with the title of Design Manager. I propose Kathleen will receive a membership NFT in return for her previous work and for her ownership of the following in partnership with the marketing & events manager:
- NFT design
- Website design
- Promotional materials for events and other projects
- Merchandise design
The Design Manager is not limited to marketing & events projects, and DAO members should know that Kathleen also possesses extensive technical knowledge in addition to her design and art.
The Design Manager will be compensated via the Giving Circle process introduced in ATX DAO V2, effective with the month following the passing of this proposal. There will not be any retainer required outside of the established monthly Giving Circle funds.
The precedent for providing membership NFTs for exceptional community contributors was established with Admit Government Relations Consultants to ATX DAO and The Case for ATX DAO HQ, Part Deux.
The ATX DAO HQ project is no longer active, as the property owner decided not to go forward with the partnership. As a result, the 5 NFTs allocated for this proposal are still in ATX DAO’s vaults. I propose that one of these NFTs be allocated to Kathleen for her exceptional, consistent, and invaluable contributions to our organization. A consistent brand and image is critical for any successful organization.
On another note - I am a huge fan of encouraging more women to actively participate in ATX DAO. Kathleen has strong connections among the artist and music community in Austin, both of which are growth areas for ATX DAO. As lead singer of Kiki Machine, Kathleen brings some serious street cred to the table (in addition to an incredible fashion sense). She's also just a frickin' bad@$$, so if you haven't met her yet then you need to!
