Our last member meeting featured a presentation from the Austin Chamber about joining as a member organization. This is a great example to represent ATX DAO among business owners and leaders in the community, outside of the crypto native industry. As ATX DAO grows, the importance of engaging with the broader community increases significantly.
One of the primary benefits to ATX DAO is the option to participate on various Committees, including Small Business Owners, Ambassadors Committee, Local & Regional Government Relations, State & Federal Government Relations, and Global Tech & Innovation (currently invite-only).
I would help coordinate which DAO members are interested in representing on a committee, or participating at an event.
Every level of membership includes the following benefits:
I would suggest we choose a membership option between the middle two tiers, Build ($1,180/year) or Connect ($2,675/year). The primary differences are:
- Build can have up to 2 people on Committees, Connect may have more
- Build has 1 blog post annually, Connect has 2
- Connect allows for a listing in the Speakers Directory
- Connect allows for a listing in the Media Directory
- Connect includes invitation to Leadership Champions Reception
- Connect has discounts on sponsored events (highly doubt we would do this but mentioning anyway)
The expected impact to our cash runway is minimal at 1-2 weeks.
