ATX DAO Political Think Tank Proposal

Summary: To establish an ATX DAO Public Policy Think Tank to research and propose public policy for the advancement of cryptocurrency adoption within the government.

Detail: A founding principle of the ATX DAO Think Tank would be to only research and propose public policy that has as few barriers of entry for the government to accept, implement, and continuously monitor as the blockchain allows. The point is to utilize the blockchain within ways that reduce bureaucracy and human error and not to simply input the blockchain into a process for the sake of it. As well, any prospectus public policy from ATX DAO would be for the benefit of cryptocurrency adoption world-wide and not for any one party or entity.

Budget / Funding Request: Propose doing funding events for the ATX DAO Think Tank.

I think that we 100% need this, a huge gap right now is public policy knowledge and ideas. Now that we have folks lobbying for us, we need to identify our legislative agenda.

However, I'm not sure what this proposal is asking for? What do you mean by 'propose doing funding events for ATX DAO Think Tank"? What does the think tank look like from a structure and activities perspective?

I've been mulling over the idea of a Governments Relations committee...

A public policy think tank sounds like a good idea. This effort has the potential to make a lasting impact and to put ATX DAO on the map for a long time. Do we have additional details for next steps? Who will staff this committee? What are the high level goals? What are the deliverables for the next few months? What are the events planned? What are the funding needs and the potential revenue sources?
