What are everyone's thoughts around starting to record/livestream our monthly membership meetings?
This will require funds from the treasury to purchase the necessary equipment and additional funds to pay someone to operate the equipment.
It would be beneficial to have recordings so that members, who are out of town or couldn't make it, can get to experience the meeting at a later time. Livestreams help for the same reasons except in real time; allows the ability for viewers to interact with the meeting through live chat.
Additionally, the recordings/livestreams allow for outside members to see our discussions which may motivate them to get more involved (and may push them to purchase an NFT!) and it helps to further validate our efforts and solidify them on the internet.
Having this content available may intrude on our privacy. If someone is scared to discuss a topic publicly to the world, then it will hinder the quality of the discussion.
